Beginning lessons for kids 9 and up
Level 1 Summer Camps
Camps are the same as my weekly lessons during the school year, just Monday through Friday instead of weekly. See below for a full description of the projects.

Classes are in my home in Germantown, TN.
The cost is $150 plus a $35 materials fee, so $185 total. A $50 deposit holds your spot with the balance due by the first day of camp.
Level 1 class
Classes are weekly for 5 weeks. We’ll complete a new project every lesson for the first 4 weeks. The fifth week is an unstructured class where kids can make another one of their favorite projects, add extra elements to one of their projects, or just experiment with their own ideas.
Week 1 – Placemat
Week 2 – Scrunchi
Week 3 – Raindrop stuffy
Week 4 – Drawstring backpack
Week 5 – Free-sew

I have 4 sessions throughout the school year starting in late August, late October, mid-January, and late March. I also do week long camps during the Summer.
I also offer Level 2 Classes!
Level 2 is for anyone that has completed level 1 or can operate a sewing machine well. This means keeping a consistent seam allowance on straight lines or curves. Currently there are four different level 2 classes: a sampler theme, a stuffies theme, an accessories theme, and a clothes theme. They are a similar skill level and can be taken in any order. Check out my projects tab for the projects in these and other classes.

I also offer Adult Beginning Classes!
The typical projects in an adult class are the placemat, the patchwork pillow, the velcro purse, and pajama shorts (shorts take two lessons to complete), but this can vary based on the interests and ability of the particular class. Check out my projects tab for pictures of these and other projects that I teach.
